Deep roots in the mortgage industry.

Unity Lending was built to give clients a smarter, more transparent lending experience — rooted in trust, clarity, and personal attention.

Built on experience.

Unity Lending is led by Christian Keshishian and his father, Edwin Keshishian, from the Los Angeles area. The company was formed in 2026, but the experience behind it goes back much further — Edwin has been in mortgage and real estate since 2004, and Christian since 2017. We work with clients throughout California and, on many programs, well beyond it.

We know how overwhelming the process can be — especially for first-time homebuyers, business owners, and clients with unique financial situations. Whether you are purchasing your first home, refinancing, or navigating a more complex loan scenario, we are here with support and solutions tailored to your goals.

What we do differently comes down to structuring. We look for the lender that fits the borrower, rather than making the borrower fit one lender, and we spend the time up front on the scenarios that are not cookie-cutter. We work with clients in English and Armenian.

Trust, clarity, and personal attention.

Trust

We treat every loan like it is our own. If a loan does not serve you, we say so — we are here to be your advisor for life, not for one transaction.

Clarity

Every rate, fee, and step explained in plain language, until it makes sense. You should always know what is happening and why.

Personal attention

You work directly with the people who own the outcome. No call center, no getting passed around, no re-explaining your file.

Who you will work with.

Christian Keshishian

CEO & Broker

NMLS #2445363 · DRE #02044974

Christian has worked in real estate since 2017 and in mortgage lending since 2021. He started Unity Lending to build a brokerage that works differently — one that takes the time to understand what a borrower is actually trying to do, looks past the obvious loan options, and gives straight answers from the first call through closing.

He handles the files other lenders call complicated: self-employed borrowers, investors, and scenarios that do not fit a standard box. Problem-solving is the part of the job he is best at.

Edwin Keshishian

Broker

DRE #01412325

Edwin has worked in the mortgage and real estate industry since 2004 — more than twenty years, spanning the 2008 downturn and every market since.

Clients come to him for judgment. He has seen enough files to know quickly what will work, what will not, and where a deal can be restructured to get to yes.

Questions about working with us.

Will I work with Christian and Edwin directly?
Yes. Unity Lending is a small brokerage by design — the people you meet on this page are the people who handle your file, from the first conversation through closing. There is no call center and no handing you off to someone you have never spoken to.
What does a mortgage broker do that a bank does not?
A bank can offer you its own loan products. A broker shops your scenario across many lenders and loan programs, which matters most when your situation is not straightforward — self-employment, investment property, an unusual property type, or a timeline a retail lender cannot meet. We are also the ones who package your file so the underwriter sees it clearly the first time.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Unity Lending, Inc. arranges loans pursuant to the California Financing Law or other applicable state license. Christian Keshishian holds NMLS #2445363 and California DRE #02044974; Edwin Keshishian holds California DRE #01412325. You can verify any mortgage license at NMLS Consumer Access.
Do you only lend in California?
Most of our business is in the Los Angeles area and across California, and that is where we know the market best. We have also arranged financing outside the state on a number of programs — if your property is elsewhere, ask and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

Let’s talk about your plans.

Buying, refinancing, or weighing your options — a short call is the easiest place to start.
